Pokesdown Youth Club is a registered charity number 301918.

It serves the young people and community in the Pokesdown area of Bournemouth, drawing its members mainly from the wards of Boscombe East, Boscombe West, Southbourne, and West Southbourne. It has been in existence at the present site since 1905 and Bournemouth YMCA took over the trusteeship of the club in November 2000. Our vision in taking responsibility for the club is not only to continue the work set up by Miss Ellen Mary Anstie but to develop the activities further for the benefit of the local community.

Bournemouth Youth Service are happy to partner in this project with Bournemouth YMCA in the provision of this facility by providing the youth club staffing.
